Energy Credit Risk Best Practices
The CCRO membership agrees that since our first credit risk publication in 2002, credit
risk management practices have evolved in a number of important directions.
In the last decade things have changed significantly for credit risk managers. What’s
more, we expect this evolution to continue going forward into the future. As a result, the
CCRO created this initiative to consolidate and update past CCRO materials, and to
collaboratively research and author new material.
To advance this group’s work products towards wide recognition as industry standards,
the CCRO will publish the white paper chapters as they are completed, and host industry
events &training based on this content.
The paper includes ten chapters, which are today at various stages of development from
final draft to outline. The leadership team has decided that for this discussion, we would
like to walk through two of the chapters:
On-boarding: Hosted by Eric Twombly
Measurement: Hosted by Miguel Correa
This will afford us an opportunity to introduce the audience to some of the terrific work
done by the group recently, and to delve into any detailed credit issues that the audience
might desire through Q&A.
It is our hope that this discussion will attract some new participants in this important
piece of CCRO standards work…
