“DCarboniz” Nonprofit Introduction and Q&A
New platform: Standard setting for carbon measurements &reporting”
We would like to introduce the CCRO members to an exciting new non-profit platform
designed to bring integrity and robustness to the critical process of measuring and
reporting the carbon content of energy sources, across all segments of industry. Industry
needs this integrity and robustness of process in order to satisfy the growing demand to
commercialize carbon content as a parameter in pricing and contracts.
DCarboniz’s new standards seek to advance industry practices so as to facilitate energy
transactions and mitigate risks of “greenwashing” liabilities we’ve seen in noteworthy
examples from the past.
